BRIEF HISTORY OF THE COLLEGE
The College of Health Sciences is one of the pioneer Colleges of NCHST Anyigba, established at the inception of the College. Although the College has accreditation by the National Board for Technical Education NBTE to offer Community health and Pharmacy.
The Nana College of Health Sciences conprises of the fields of the medical sciences like the Community Health, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory, Science Laboratory Technology etc.
It's Basic Requirements are minimum of five (5) credits in the basic science subjects Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics at not more than two (2) sittings.

Community Health Extension Workers (Diploma) 3 Years
Entry Requirement:
- Five (5) O’Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics at WASC/NECO/GCE at not more than two sittings.
Junior Community Health Extension Worker (Certificate) 2 Years
Entry Requirement:
- Five (5) O’Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry/Physics and any other credit in Agric Science, Economics, Geography, Literature ans Commerce at WASC/NECO/GCE/SSCE at not more than two sittings.
Emergency Medical Technician (Diploma) 3 Years
Entry Requirement:
- Five (5) credit passes in WASC/NECO/SSCE or GCE. Subjects includes: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics at not more than two sittings.
Dispensing Optcianry Technician (Diploma) 3 Years
Entry Requirement:
- Five (5) credit passes in WASC/NECO/SSCE or GCE. Subjects includes: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics at not more than two sittings.
